1 day old puppy stats

All is well in puppyland.  I did the critical first weigh-in this morning, and all the pups have gained approximately 1 oz since birth which is excellent.  Early weight gain is the single best indication of health at this age.  We had a relatively quiet night, and Juliette is eating well.  She is even relaxed enough to spend short periods of time with me before rushing back to the pups.  The house is so quiet with just Juliette and pups tucked back in my bedroom, no other adult dogs or a rowdy pen of puppies in my living room.
