Juliette is a Golden retriever breeder for ICAN (Indiana Canine Assistant Network). Hopefully all these puppies will have the health and temperament to become assistance dog trainees in 8 weeks time.

Wow!
These pups have really grown up this week. All eyes were open by Thursday morning, and their activity level has picked up. Much more mobile, exploratory and interactive. Just a couple of days ago, if they bumped into stuffed animal, it was a major road block. Now, they are climbing over and biting at the stuffed animals. And starting to interact with each other. I introduced canned food on Thursday evening, and this gang wasn't so sure about the new food stuff. But by Friday, they were starting to think it might be OK. I started with just 1 tsp once a day, and will be increasing to 1 tsp twice a day today. Juliette's milk supply is no longer keeping up wtih demand, so I will also be giving them bottles of goat milk twice a day starting today. Not surprising since together they already weigh approximately 50% of Juliette's body weight.
