We've got milk

The pups have upgraded to a bigger holding tub
Interesting how the puppies tend to segragate by color

Juliette is eating 8 cups of food, and her milk production is finally keeping up with demand, at least for the short term.  With strategic private nursing, we have been able to keep the puppy weight range amazingly tight for such a big litter.  Most importantly, there is no one pup consistently lagging behind.  This morning, 4 pups weighed 1 lb 15 oz (lowest weight), and Aria is currently the big pup at 2 lbs 4 oz.  Each day, the pups improve their walking skills, and many have their eyelids half open.  Now that the pups are toileting on their own, I am doing a lot more puppy laundry.  You get spoiled that first week when the dam is so diligent keeping everyone clean.  However, the pups are already making an effort to move away from the puppy pile to take care of business - good puppies!
